(ENG) WinSCP Installation

Step 1: Download WinSCP

1. Visit the WinSCP website:

   • Open your web browser and go to: winscp.net.

2. Download the installer:

   • On the homepage, select the Download option.
   • Click on the button Download WinSCP to get the latest installer.

Step 2: Start the Installation

3. Open the installation file:

   • After the download is complete, go to the folder where the file was saved (usually the Downloads folder) and double-click on the file WinSCP-setup.exe.

4. Confirm the launch:

   • If prompted by the Windows User Account Control (UAC), click Yes to confirm that you want to run the program.

Step 3: Installation Settings

5. Select Language:

   • At the start of the installation wizard, you will be prompted to choose a language. Select your preferred language (e.g., English) and click OK.

6. Proceed with the installation:

   • Click Next to move to the next screen.

7. Accept the License Agreement:

   • Read the license agreement and select the box I accept the agreement. Then click Next.

8. Choose Installation Folder:

   • Choose the folder where you want to install WinSCP (or leave the default) and click Next.

9. Select Installation Components:

   • Choose the components you want to install (e.g., Desktop Icon, Additional Components) and click Next.

10. Confirm and Start Installation:

    • Review your settings and click Install to start the installation process.

Step 4: Complete the Installation

11. Finish the Installation:
    • Once the installation is complete, click Finish to close the setup wizard. You may choose to launch WinSCP immediately.

Step 5: Launch WinSCP

12. Open WinSCP:
    • If it didn't open automatically, you can find the WinSCP icon on your desktop or in the Start menu and launch it from there.
